The Rotary Club of Elstree and Borehamwood meets at the Premier Travel Inn Hotel, Elstree Way, Borehamwood at 12.30pm for 12.45pm, meetings finish at 1.45pm to allow members to return to businesses, etc for 2.00pm.
The Club is a member of the Rotary International (RI) and Rotary International in Britain and Ireland (RIBI) and is one of 70+ Rotary Clubs in the London area. Rotary International was started on 23rd February 1905. The Rotary Club of Elstee and Borehamwood received its charter in 1942.
Rotary is for business and professional people; Rotary expects high ethical standards of its members. Rotary is a service organisation that organises support, financial and hands on, locally and internationally. The motto of Rotary is 'Service above Self'. Membership is by invitation but interested potential members may attend a meeting or two to investigate more fully what membership involves.
