Summary Lions Club, Sandy (Biggleswade) Biggleswade and Sandy Lions Welfare Fund
The fellowship in Lions Clubs has helped the organisation to grow to more than 850 clubs in Britain and Ireland, with a membership of over 25,000. Their principal aim is to provide help or funds for those in need.
From the many varied activities organised by individual Lions Clubs they are able to raise funds for worthy causes. Sometimes as direct payments, more often as much needed equipment paid for by the Lions Clubs and then given to needy individuals or charitable bodies.
Meeting Venue: Conservative Club, St Andrews Street, Biggleswade.
Meetings : The 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8.00pm.
All are welcome to come along.
