Berkhamsted Lions Club

One business meeting and one dinner meeting held each month.

* First Thursday of the month at the St John Ambulance Hall, Northchurch;
* Third Thursday of the month at the Sessions Hall, Town Hall, Berkhamsted. All meetings start at 8.00pm.

There are more than 900 Lions Clubs in Britain and Ireland, with a membership of over 20,000. Worldwide membership is 1.4 million in over 43,000 clubs in 140 countries.

Their principal aim is to provide practical help or funds for those in need in their communities.From the many varied activities organised by individual Lions Clubs they are able to raise funds to donate to worthy causes.

The Berkhamsted club is open to community minded individuals and is involved in fund-raising and provision of practical support for the young, the old and the disabled.

The Lions organize the Berkhamsted August Bank Holiday Fete, an annual charity Golf day, and a number of other events.

The parent organisation for this group is Lions Clubs International.
