Dacorum Fellowship for Children with Special Needs. Supporting the Opportunity Class

The Dacorum Fellowship for Children with Special Needs supports the Dacorum Opportunity Class, a class for pre-school chidren with special educational needs, run by HCC Childrens Schools and Families. The class is held at Westfield First School, Durrants Lane, Berkhamsted, and takes children from the Dacorum area.

* Over-2's meet: Tuesdays and Fridays from 9.30am-11.45am;
* Parent/carer and under-2's meet: Alternate Mondays from 9.30pm-11.30am

The class encourages structured play activities for under-4's with special needs, who attend with a parent, carer or volunteer. The teacher can be contacted on 07887 625933. Children attend by referral from health visitors. There is no charge. Transport can be arranged.

The Fellowship funds toys, equipment, outings, and training for those involved with the class.
