Friends of Danesbury and QVM Hospital co-ordinate voluntary activities supporting the care provided by Danesbury House and the QVM Hospital in welwyn (caring for physically disabled, elderly and stroke patient.
Activities include:
* Fund raising and organising events for patients.
* Support of volunteers working within the hospital.
* Operation of two charity shops supporting Danesbury, the Queen Victoria Memorial Hosptial and other NHS facilities in the area.
