Capel Players, The

This is a musical and drama group who perform singing and sketch shows to benefit local children's charities.

Their is a fundraising show and an Autumn cabaret and an annual 12-hour Singathon at the Brookfield Centre, usually in the summer and two 6 hour winter singathon also at the Brookfield Centre in December.

They will also perform for any organisation, club or charity, either to aid the host club's own charitable fund-raising or in return for a donation to the Players' funds or current charity of the year.

Any age can be catered for. It is advisable to give a few months notice as they get very busy.

New members who like singing and having fun are welcome. They are particularly interested in recruiting good male voices. Over 12's only please.

Rehearsals are currently held on Thursdays at 8.00pm during the winter and Wednesdays during the Summer, at the Whitewebbs Centre, Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield.
