Hertfordshire Community Foundation is a catalyst between the private, public, voluntary and community sectors to tackle need and deprivation across the county. From endowments, infrastructure and diverse funding streams, we aim to improve the quality of life for all.
We raise and manage funds for local people seeking a simple and effective way to support local causes.
Our primary objectives are:
* To be the natural port of call for anyone in Hertfordshire considering philanthropy and grant aid.
* To generate and develop endowments.
* To develop a mix of grants and infrastructure to address need and deprivation in Hertfordshire.
* To foster and support partnerships within and between the private, public, voluntary and community sectors to achieve our vision and objectives.
Priority areas for grantmaking are:
* Disadvantaged children and families
* Developing young people
* Access to education, training and employment
* The quality of life of older people
