The aims of this group is to inform themselves and others about the nature and causes of world poverty, its effects on the environment, and its effects on people.

The group campaigns for new policies to tackle the major causes of world poverty, distress and suffering.

Welcoming people of all ages, they combine their activities with the 'World Development Movement Group' in Watford.

Meets: 7.45pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

The group also publishes monthly newsletters available via post or email.
