This group tries to inform themselves and others about the nature and causes of world poverty, its effect on the environment and its effect on people. They campaign for new policies to tackle the major causes of world poverty, distress and suffering. The group welcomes people of all ages and is affiliated to Jubilee Debt Campaign and Oxfam.

They meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7.45pm.
