The Stevenage Community Trust is an independent charitable trust which seeks to enhance the quality of life of people living in Stevenage and surrounding villages (Aston, Benington, Cromer, Datchworth, Graveley, Knebworth, Walkern, Watton, Weston, Woolmer Green and Wymondley). The Trust has an endowment fund to ensure long term giving.
Individuals and companies can become members of the Trust by paying an annual subscription. Fund-raising events are held throughout the year, and help at these events as well as donations for raffles etc. are welcome.
The Trust helps groups, organisations and individuals, but does not fund the following: Ongoing costs; Religion; Politics; Educational attainment.
The Trust has an independent grant committee which meets quarterly. Grants are usually small.
