St Albans Good Neighbour Scheme provides a telephone helpline for practical assistance such as:
* collecting prescriptions;
* transport to medical appointments;
* shopping;
* small jobs around the home and befriending.

The phone lines are open every day from 9.00am-4.00pm all year round.

Transport section can arrange for the elderly, disabled and mothers with children to be transported to hospital, doctors' surgeries, shopping and urgent personal business. Prescription collection service available.
