The Army Families Federation (AFF) works to improve the quality of life for all Army families. AFF acts as the communication channel between the Army and its families, raising families' concerns to the policy makers and lobbying for change where necessary. AFF also signposts families to other agencies for information or advice as appropriate.
The AFF represents all Army families, worldwide, on issues that affect their lives such as housing, health, education, operational tours and postings. AFF receives queries every day from Army spouses, which are collated on a central database and used as evidence to lobby for change. AFF also has specialists in Housing, Health & Additional Needs, Education & Childcare the Territorial Army, and Foreign and Commonwealth issues.
The Federation also offer Army spouses information and advice on employment through the AFF Employment Advice Service and offer training at their Training Centre, Bulford, Wiltshire.
