The Ace Project aims to reduce the number of children, aged 5-14, not attending school by employing project workers to work on a one to one basis with them and their families.

Children are referred to the Project by the Education Welfare Service. Project workers encourage the children to attend school by helping them through the problems they are experiencing, providing mentoring and practical support and assisting, if appropriate, with school work.

Affiliated to the Hertfordshire Care Trust.
