St Albans Cathedral Music Trust

The Music Trust has been established to raise an endowment fund to safeguard St Albans Cathedral's musical heritage and finance new initiatives. The costs of the Cathedral Choir of boys and men, the Abbey Girls Choir and the upkeep of the organ have to be found at present from income.

The Cathedral is the focal point for church music in the diocese (Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the London Borough of Barnet) and an outstanding venue for musical performances, both large and small scale. The biennial International Organ Festival enjoys a world-wide reputation.
