Charity Commission for England and Wales
Established under the 1993 Charities Act, the Commission has the general function of promoting the effective use of charitable resources in England and Wales.
The Commission gives information and advice to charity trustees on making their administration more effective. It also investigates misconduct and alleged abuse of assets.
Please note: the Charity Commission does not make grants of funds to groups or individuals.
