Mencap charity shop which allows people with learning disabilities the opportunity to work in the shop and train in an NVQ in retail.

Our training shop is the latest venture for Watford Mencap and opened in March 2003. With the aid of money from the European Social Fund, the shop sells donated goods to raise money for Watford Mencap. Additionally the shop gives trainees with learning disabilities the chance to learn retail skills. Volunteers who work alongside them will help prepare goods for sale, serve customers and stack the shelves.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 10.00am-5.00pm.
