The Play Right Initiative is a five year project funded by the Hertfordshire Children's Fund. The project delivers peripatetic play sessions in parks and open spaces in St Nicholas, Chells, Shephall and Bedwell between 2003-2008. It also works with local schools to develop play opportunities during lunchtime.

The project aims to promote children's rights by advocating for the child's right to have a say in local play opportunities by encouraging developing and promoting children's participation.

The Play Right Initiative aims to create sustainable play opportunities with support of local communities and volunteers.
