Muriel Green Nursery School (St Albans)

At Muriel Green Nursery School children are offered three terms of nursery education as a "Stepping Stone to School". Our five weekly sessions are either in the morning from 9.15am to 11.45am or in the afternoon from 12.45pm to 3.15pm.

We are an extended school providing care for children from 3 months to 5 years, all day and throughout the year in our fee-paying Pre School. We provide nutritious family style meals cooked on site.

Our nursery is located in the St Albans Children's Centre and includes a Baby Room, Toddler Room, two Foundations Rooms and a large attractive garden and playground.

Our provision is well resourced, spacious and secure, both indoors and outdoors. The experienced, caring staff team is fully qualified and includes four teachers.

In December 2005 we received Herts Quality Standards verification.

In June 2006 Ofsted identified teaching and learning; leadership and management as outstanding; Ofsted reported "children benfit from an effective partnership with parents wich significantly contributes to their wellbeing".
