Cambridge-based Little Hands Nursery Schools believe that children learn through play and having fun, so they plan each session to provide a wide variety of activities. There is time to play in groups and alone, indoors and out, supervised and imaginative. They place great importance on building social skills and language by using their high staffing ratio. Each session allows time for pre-reading, writing, numeracy and maths development, using a wide range of equipment, toys and games.

Their sessions are planned around themes or topics and in this way the children explore the world around them, from festivals to outer space. They develop creativity using craft, music, role play and dance, and promote each child's physical development.

They are OFSTED inspected and therefore able to accept NEF. Recently inspected. OFSTED judged the nursery as outstanding in all areas.

The Melbourn Little Hands has its own premises in Melbourn village.

Open term time bookings with optional Holiday Club. High staff ratio of trained staff. No parental involvement required.
