St John's Pre-School Nursery (Rickmansworth)

Times:
* Monday-Friday 9.00am-11.30am and 12.45pm-3.15pm;
* Age for am session 2 (term after they are two)
* Two full day sessions Mondays and Thursdays 9.00am-3.15pm (includes hot lunch) for children aged from 3 years 9 months, approx.

Starting playgroup is an important step for any child. The group aim to make the children feel happy and safe in this new environment. It is vital that it is a positive experience for the child and the parents. For this reason St Johns playgroup uses the keyworker system, where each child is assigned to a member of staff, who takes particular interest in and responsibility for all their individual needs, recording the progress of each child.

With the implementation of a new record system which ensures that the six areas of learning are now well planned and met.

OFSTED - last inspection 2006 - excellent report received highlighting the excellent leadership skills and the teams professional approach to their teaching practice.
