Parkgate Parent and Toddler Group (Watford)

Venue: Parkgate Youth & Community Centre

Days/times: Thursday 9.30-11.30am (term-time)
(Occasional Thursdays out of term-time, 10.00-12.00ish)

Cost: £1.50 per family

Friendly group aims to provide a welcoming atmosphere for pre-school children to play, develop and make new friends. It also provides a meeting place where parents can socialise and share experiences. Snack and drinks are provided, with children sitting down (where able!) together at the table. They aim to do a craft or activity session approximately every fortnight, dependant on volunteers!

Facilities and activities:
A range of baby and toddler toys; playdough; ‘softplay’; books; dressing up; painting; puzzles; outside area in summer with slide, house, climbing cube, etc; toy cars and garage; trains and track; dolls, buggies and dolls houses; kitchen and tea-sets/food; shopping trolleys; parachute; building blocks; ‘happy land’; musical instruments; seasonal activities such as Christmas party, etc. Changing facilities; baby bouncer chairs.
