Tiddlywinks Parent and Toddler Group (Datchworth)

* Meeting times:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.45am to 11.15am (during term time)

Some sessions are also run during the school holidays. Availability of these sessions is advertised at the term time sessions.

* Venue:
Datchworth Village Hall. The toddler group is accessed from a side door of the main hall.

We aim to offer a clean, safe, relaxed and friendly environment for parents, carers and their babies and toddlers.

We provide age appropriate toys, equipment and play materials. We have an arts and craft table with a different craft or activity every week.

We have singing and music time every session, which we encourage all children and their carers to participate in.

We have plenty of ride-ons, trikes and cars and there is a gated outside playspace, which is available for use as weather permits.

There is also a book and video library and we provide information on other local resources and services.

Refreshments are served for carers and children at 10.30ish.

Tiddlywinks is run by a committee of local mothers and carers. The committee evolves and changes rapidly, as our children grow and move onto nursery and school. Individuals volunteer to assist with the running of the group and we are always looking for more help and enthusiasm. The Committee meets once every half term to plan the running of the group.
