Berkhamsted Under 5s Group

* Venue for meetings:
St Mary's Northchurch Parish Rooms. Disabled access from the churchyard. Disabled toilets.

* Day/Time of meetings:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9.30am to 12noon.

The group is a drop-in facility for socially, financially or geographically isolated families with under fives, referred by health visitors. Appropriate play activities provide stimulation and learning opportunities for the children, whilst the parents have opportunities to support each other and have access to information on matters such as health, nutrition and behaviour. The co-ordinator and her deputy wo together run the sessions are ready to offer support and advice to individuals, and six trustees manage their work and administer the finances.
