* Venue: Oaklands School, Great North Road, Welwyn.
* Times: Monday to Friday from 9.00-11.30am and 12.30pm-3.00pm; Lunch Club from 11.30am-12.30pm.
* Costs: £9.50 per session for playgroup for two to three year olds only; over 3 and 4 year olds are all funded.
They are a community playgroup pre-school feeding all local schools and a registered charity depending on fees and fundraising. They are registered with OFSTED and therefore the pre-school sessions are free.
Their aims are to prepare the children for their entry into school and life - learning through play, developing self esteem and confidence encouraged through pre-school skills. They follow the 0-5 Foundation Stage Curriculum Guidance from the DFES.
