Digswell Pre-school

Opening times:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9.30am - 12.00noon;
Thursday and Friday 11.45am - 2.45pm (including lunch club.

We take children from two years four months and they can start as soon as they reach this age if a place is available. Children can stay at the Pre-school until they start full-time school although many children move to nursery in the mornings the term after their 4th birthday, but continue to come back to Pre-school for the lunch club and afternoon sessions on Thursday and Friday. We are registered for a maximum of 30 children per session.

2006 Ofsted inspection:
We were subject to an unannounced Ofsted inspection in February 2006. The report following this inspection concluded that our provision was good in all areas. The inspector commented:

'Children are happy and settled in the stimulating Pre-school environment. The high quality interaction between adults and children ensures supportive relationships are developed which help children to make good progress. Children are busy and enjoy their time in the group as they participate in a variety of interesting activities.'
