Sessions are for children aged from 2 years old upwards.

* Venue for meetings:
Ridlins Pavilion, Woodcock Road, Stevenage, Herts (No mail please).

Meeting times:
* Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12noon as well as Tuesdays from 1.00pm to 2.30pm.

The aim of the Little Learners is to provide a happy stimulating environment where a child has the opportunity to develop his/her social, intellectual, and physical skills in a free but disciplined atmosphere.

During sessions we offer a variety of craft activities including painting, printing, sticking and cutting. There is also playdough and clay for modelling, construction toys, shape toys, jigsaws, threading, matching, a book corner and imaginative corner. Children are able to choose their own activies, but will be encouraged to try new ones and to build on the skills they have already learnt. All playschool sessions are designed to help each individual child to progress in their own way.

Every child will start in an introductory group on a Tuesday afternoon. This is to familiarise the children with the playschool situation and staff with the presence of their carer. They will stay in this session for one or two terms progressing onto two sessions in the morning without their carer. They will continue to progress through the group, gradually attending more often until they leave to go to Nursery.

You are welcome to visit on a Tuesday afternoon between 1.00pm and 2.30pm or any morning between 9.30am and 10.30am.

Registered with Hertfordshire Social Services. Achieved Herts Quality Standards Award. Passed OFSTED Care (with no action points).

We advise you to put your child's name on the waiting list at (or before) 18 months to avoid disapointment.
