Trinity Community Pre-school (St Albans)

This pre-school group caters for children from age two and a half years to five years old.

Sessions are Monday-Thursday from 9.30am-12.00noon.
Cost: £9.50 per session

Trinity is a small (24 place) community pre-school. Day to day teaching is provided by a team of four play assistants but the group is managed by the parents of attending children. The group welcomes parental involvement.

Trinity has charitable status so any profits are used to buy new equipment and resources. The group is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.

At Trinity the curiculum is based on national guidelines for nurseries and pre-schools produced by the Department for Education. It is designed to be suitable for the age of the children and is therefore "playbased" using a variety of themes and activities to cover all areas of learning. They had a good Ofsted (combined) inspection in November 2004.

Trinity welcomes all children regardless of their religious, social or ethnic background and all children are offered equal opportunities.
