Paperchain Pre-School (London Colney)

Pre-school/playgroup opening times:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9.30am-12.00pm.

Paperchain is a well regarded pre-school providing 26 places at each of four morning sessions. Each session provides opportunity for a long free play time where children choose from a huge range of activities including ones that are adult led and reflect out half termly theme. Children join in at tidy up time followed by enjoying a healthy snack and drink with their peers. They then work in small groups on a circle time activity before singing time where the children join in using puppets and masks etc. Then outside/physical play follows with cars, trikes and other large play equipment before enjoying a story at the end of the session.

Children learn through play and using the Foundation Stage curriculum (including the six early learning areas) we plan their play to make the most of all activities and to ensure that all our children:
* Develop independence - using resources and making choices in a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
* Learn to play within rules and with other children and adults.
* Make progress towards fulfilling their potential and being equipped to move to Nursery/School.
