Bengeo Playgroup

Playgroup sessions:
* Monday to Friday 9.05am-11.35am;
* Monday and Wednesday 12.45pm-3.00pm (selected terms only - depending on numbers).

For children aged 2years 9 months to 4 years old (pre-nursery).

Bengeo Playgroup was opened at Bengeo Primary School in 1991 as a welcoming and all inclusive, independently run, community playgroup. It is a self financing charity and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. The Playgroup is run by a Management Committee that consists of elected parents/carers in addition to a representative of the Nursery and the School Headteacher.

The success of the playgroup is largely due to the dedication of its qualified and caring staff. They encourage all aspects of the child's development in a fun and safe manner. A keyworker system is operated where each child is assigned to a member of staff who monitors their progress and development. High priority is given to maintaining a good adult to child ratio.
