St Barnabas Pre-school (Adeyfield)

Pre-school for children aged two and a half to five years old.

Two and a half year olds are started in the upstairs hall and are called Caterpillars. This is a small group of children - a maximum of 12. Focus in this group is to develop social skills, encourage children to happily separate from parent/carer and to learn to play together with other children and adults. Other crafts and activities are also available.

At the age of 3 the children are moved to the larger hall and become Butterflies - a maximum of 26 children.

The afternoon sessions are run in the one hall with a maximum of 26 children.

Children in both groups are encouraged to learn through play in a loving and caring atmosphere. They have a garden for outside play, and also have the use of the church twice a week.

* Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12noon; Lunch Club from 12noon to 1.00pm.
* Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12.30pm to 3.30pm (term time only).
