Apsley Lock Pre School

* Opening hours:
Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 12.15pm. A lunch club is also available each day until 1.00pm

* Cost: £10.20 per session. Funding available for children aged two plus years whose parents are in receipt of high tax credits or benefits and for all children, the term after their third birthday.

Children taken from 2 years 4 months. A high staff/child ratio is maintained at all times.

Apsley Lock Pre School can offer you and your child a friendly community-based Pre School run by experienced and qualified staff and supported by a parent-run committee.

Our Aims Are:

* To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
* To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent - involving, community based group.
* To increase the children’s self - confidence and fully prepare them for the transition to nursery education.
* To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.
* To encourage children to be independent and have fun and friendship with children and other adults.

Our pre-school enjoys light and airy, modern facilities that are in close reach of many areas ripe for exploration i.e. trips to the park and local shops, canal boat spotting and bug hunting.

Many people come to visit us, including ballet teachers, musicians, policemen/ladies etc. An equally varied social life is available to the parents too through an active management committee. For more information, phone to make an appointment or just drop in.
