Westmill Nursery

Nursery opening times:
Monday to Thursday from 9.20am to 2.20pm and Friday from 9.20am to 1.20pm (term time only).

The Nursery is a small friendly group set in a historical hall within a picturesque village, easily accessible from Buntingford, the A10 and surrounding villages.

Children can join from the age of 2 and have the option to remain there to complete their nursery education. The Nursery is regeistered to take up to 18 children each session and participates in the flexible Pathfinder nursery education scheme, offering 15 hours a week free.

The Nursery is OFSTED registered and was last inspected in March 2007. It achieved outstanding in all areas, making it one of the top 2% of settings within the county.

Children are provided with interesting and stimulating activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development. The Nursery supports each child through play and guides them through the new Early Years Foundation Stage which prepares them to progress with confidence to the National Curriculum at the age of five.

Westmill Nursery works in partnership with parents and recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their children. The Nursery welcomes and involves parents in their children's development. All staff see themselves as co-workers with parents in providing a true positive partnership.

All staff are experienced and qualified but above all dedicated and enthusiastic!

Costs (as at 10/11/2008): £14.00 per four hour session. Five hour session is available for children aged 3+.
