Staff at Blues Pre-School believe that small children learn best in a structured play situation. The staff aim to stimulate the childrens physical, emotional, intellectual and social development, encouraging them to be independent and confident.
Staff at Blues Pre-School hope that, through structured play, children will gain sufficient language skills to communicate with their peers and adults. Your child will be encouraged to learn to recognise shapes and colours and to gain some numeracy skills.
Children will have opportunities to gain some pencil control and co-ordination. They should be able to recognise their own name and will be encouraged to try to write it. All the group's activities give your child the opportunity to learn early literacy and numerical skills.
The Pre-School has been inspected by Ofsted, with a successful outcome of 2-4 years.
The Pre-School is also Accredited by the Pre-School Learning Alliance.
The school caters for children aged 2.5 to 5 years.
