Highbury Lodge Day Nursery (Hitchin)

As part of Child Base Ltd, Highbury Lodge's aim is to deliver the highest quality of care through purpose designed nurseries. Within each facility children are encouraged to learn through direct experience in an environment which is safe, stimulating, and provides a sensible balance between flexible and structured routines.

Highbury Lodge is a 74-place day nursery which has approx 130 children on roll between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years. Places are available on a full or part-time basis. Accomodation is a converted 3 storey building with an under-2's unit on the ground floor, 2-3 years on the 1st floor and 3-5 year olds on the top floor.

The nursery is staffed by nursery practitioners and trained assistants. The staff to child ratios are amongst the highest for the profession. As a company Child Base is very keen to ensure that all staff have access to regular training and development.

* Under 2's per month:
- Full time £914.33;
- 4 days £862.33;
- 3 days £646.75;
- 2 days £431.17;
- 1 day £215.59;
- Half a day £113.75.

* 2-3 years old per month:
- Full time £901.33;
- 4 days £840.67;
- 3 days £630.50;
- 2 days £420.33;
- 1 day £210.17;
- Half a day £111.59.

* 3-5 years old per month:
- Full time £860.17;
- 4 days £814.67;
- 3 days £611.00;
- 2 days £407.33;
- 1 day £203.67;
- Half a day £108.33.

Opening Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-6.00pm.
Extended hours booking 7.30am-8.00am & 6.00pm-6.30pm at £9.50 each.

Minimum session policy - 3 half sessions (session 8.00am-1.00pm or 1.00pm-6.00pm) or 1 full day & half session.

Accessibility: Disabled Toilet on ground floor.
