Moor End Farm Kindergarten (Hemel Hempstead)

Moor End Farm Kindergarten is a small 19-place nursery and pre-school for children aged 1-5 years. The nursery is open from 8.00am-5.50pm, Monday-Friday, 51 weeks per year and offers full and part time places. It is located on the main A4251 in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead and 10 minutes walk to Hemel Hempstead railway station.

They have their own eight acres of ground, which are used for children’s activities such as nature trails, vegetable growing and a giant sandpit with a real boat! Also they are surrounded by the Boxmoor Trust land for more adventures and have access to the Boxmoor Trust learning centre.

They provide a friendly, safe and happy environment where children can learn through play. They offer a wide range of stimulating and creative activities, indoors and out, focussing on having fun. Their activities work up a healthy appetite and each day they prepare home cooked balanced meals.

Their aim is for the children to be happy, feel secure, progress and later develop an eagerness for their transition onto formal education. Staff are well qualified and continually train to update their areas of expertise. They constantly provide encouragement to the children whilst allowing them to play and learn at their own pace. They are Ofsted registered and incorporate the Early Years Foundation Stage into their fun-packed day. Funding is available for 3 and 4 year olds.
