ChatterboxBabies: Baby signing and music classes (Watford, Abbots Langley, South Oxhey and Hemel Hempstead)

Venues and meeting times:

* Mondays at Rainbow Children's Centre, Broadfield Road, Hemel Hempstead from 1.30pm-2.30pm (on an occasional basis).

* Tuesdays at Bedmond Village Hall, High St, Bedmond, Abbots Langley WD5 0QP from 9.45am to 10.45am and 11.00am to 12noon.

* Wednesdays at Beechfield Children's Centre, Gammons Lane, Watford, WD25 from 10.30am to 11.30am.

* Thursdays at South Oxhey Children's Centre, Oxhey Wood School, Oxhey Lane from 10.30am-11.30am.

* Fridays at Beechen Grove Baptist Church, Clarendon Road, Watford, Herts WD17 1JJ from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Costs: Free at South Oxhey; £3.00 at Hemel Hempstead; £5.00-£5.50 at Watford classes.

ChatterboxBabies is a baby signing group for babies aged from 6 months to 2 years. It is a fun and informal class for families to learn baby signs and words through well-known songs and stories and also a chance to play and socialise. By using signing with your baby you will stimulate their listening, attention and memory skills and help them to communicate before they can speak. This can help to strengthen the child/parent bond and to reduce frustration all round!

Activities are designed to support speech and language development but most importantly feel very natural and are lots of fun! The class has been devised and taught by an experienced professional with internationally recognised qualifications in speech and language therapy and British Sign Language.
