Our aims:
To create a concept with plenty of appeal to young children of all abilities and from any background. We celebrate the wonder of childhood by bringing magical themes to life, so that a child can hear, see, feel (physically and emotionally) and almost taste the intricate make-up of music.
About the sessions:
We are a forward thinking organisation, specialising in the production of contemporary music for young children.
Hartbeeps live workshops tend to be held in aesthetically pleasing surroundings in order to support and harbour the best from the creative environment. Children are encouraged to express the way the music makes them feel, as they are taken on a journey through their imagination.
We recognise the importance of early years' development, particularly within a creative and musical environment. Key skills can be practised during a session, such as listening, recognition and early language skills such as vocalising sounds. Further language skills develop through singing and imitation. Moving and responding to music helps develop coordination and playing instrument helps with fine motor skills. Social skills will come into play as children learn how to cooperate with each other.
Children delight in exploration and creative play to new sounds and rhythms. The use of visual aids, such as brightly coloured feathers and scarves enhances the sensory experience.
Workshops are currently held in and around the Watford area (please visit our website for session times).
We visit schools, nurseries, specialist schools, medical centres, hospitals and more.
We are looking for 'Session Leaders' to run our workshops within Hertfordshire. Term time, school time would suit parents with school aged children looking for a part-time career. Wonderfully rewarding for the right individuals, should be confident, enjoy singing and story telling and empathetic with children and their parents.
