Baby Carnival (St Albans)

Venues and meeting times:

* Tuesday from 3.00pm to 4.00pm (Newborns to Crawlers) at St Mary's Church Hall, opposite The Quadrant, Marshalswick, St Albans.

* Friday from 9.30am to 10.30am (Crawlers and Walkers) and then 10.45am to 11.45am (Newborns and Crawlers) at Life Development Centre, St Peters Street, St Albans AL1 3EY.

Baby Carnival runs music groups for the under three's in the St Albans area.

Classes are run by Karen Paul, an experienced, award winning music teacher. They offer babies and toddlers a fun and relaxed environment to develop musical awareness and enjoyment.

All classes incorporate a wide range of multi sensory resources including many puppets, parachute, balls and live musical performance. Percussion instruments and refreshments are also provided. Many parents have found that the clear structure given and the wide range of material used helps their child to develop an appreciation and enjoyment of music from a very early age.

Groups are divided into Movers and Shakers. Shakers are for newborn babies from 4 weeks to crawling. Movers are for babies and toddlers under three who are on the move.

Unlike many music groups the music is all peformed live (no pre-recorded backings) and there is no registration or termly sign up fee.
