Jacqu'in the Box (Hemel Hempstead and Rickmansworth)

Fun, flexible, drop-in musical sessions for babies and toddlers from 0 to 4 years of age, special newborn sessions for babies from birth to crawling, sporty tots fitness, dance and movement sessions from walking to four years of age and drama and creative musical fun sessions for two and a half to sixth birthday.

Successfully established by professional children's entertainer. Not a franchise! All sessions conducted by Jacqui herself! Pay on the day - No termly fees - from £3.50 per session under 12 months and £4.50 12 months and over, £5
for sporty tots and drama sessions. Discount for siblings.

New timetable from september 8th 2008:

Mondays:
* For ages 0 to 4's from 9.45am to 10.30am and 10.45am to 11.30am at St. Mary and St. Joseph's Parish Centre, St. John's Road, Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead.

* For ages birth to crawlers from 1.00pm to 1.30pm and 0 to 4's from 1.45pm to 2.30pm at The Temperance Hall, Chesham.

* Sporty Tots from 2.45pm to 3.30pm at The Temperance Hall, Church street Chesham.

Thursdays:
* New Creative drama and music for 2 and a half to six year olds, one hour long including refreshments, £5 per child. £8.50 for two siblings: 3.45pm to 4.45pm at Amersham Free Church, Amersham-on-the Hill.

Fridays:
* Music for 0 to 4's from 1.45pm to 2.30pm at St. Mary and St. Joseph's Parish Centre, Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead.

* Sporty tots from 2.45pm to 3.30pm at St. Mary and St. Joseph's Parish Centre, Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead.

Saturdays:
* Music for 0 to 4's from 9.45am to 10.30am at The Red Cross Centre, Faversham Road, Tring (re-starts from 6th September 2008)

* New Creative drama and music for 2 and a half to six year olds, one hour long including refreshments, £5 per child. £8.50 for two siblings from 10.45am to 11.45am at The Red Cross Centre, Faversham Road, Tring (re-starts 6th September 2008).

All the sessions run throughout the year including school holidays but excluding Bank Holidays. Special party sessions take place at Christmas and Easter. Call Jacqui for news and further information.

"Jacqu'in the Box" has been established by Jacqui, a professional children's entertainer since 1999 and has grown from strength to strength. Each of the "Jacqu'in the Box" sessions are run by Jacqui, herself, whose love of children, acting, singing and performing shines through along with her ability to create great rapport with the tiniest babies
and small toddlers and children.

Music for 0 TO 4's: The sessions all combine a specially arranged variety of action songs and rhymes with props, puppets, percussion instruments, dancing and musical movement. Great flexible musical fun designed for the whole family to enjoy together in one session!

Newborn musical sensory sessions:
These new sessions are designed to very gently introduce tiny babies and new parents, nervous of being surrounded by bigger toddlers, to the delights of music and singing. Gentle and soothing sounds to rocking and rousing beats!

Sporty tots musical fitness sessions: Still set to lively up-beat music, these sessions are filled with lively action songs and rhymes. Fantastic way to build confidence and improve balance and movement skills through play with balls, parachute and bubbles!

Creative drama and musical fun sessions: for two and a half to six year olds last one hour and combine weekly themed dress up, role play, stories, music from popular to classical and from theatre and film. Number and letter games, instruments, dancing and movement. Fantasy filled fun.
