Tick Tock Music for the Under Fives (Harpenden)

Day/Time/Venue for classes:

* Monday 9.45am, 11.00am, 1.30pm and 2.45pm at The Royal British Legion, Harpenden.

* Tuesday 9.45am, 11.00am and 1.15pm at Lourdes Hall, Southdown Road, Harpenden.

* Wednesday from 9.45am and 11.00am at The Royal British Legion, Harpenden.

* Thursday from 9.45am and 11.00am at The Royal British Legion, Harpenden.

One child - £5.50
Siblings over one - £3.50
Siblings under one - £2.00

Each 45 minute session is an interactive show using a selection of nursery rhymes and songs, old and new, to an electronic keyboard accompaniment. There is a different programme each week. The songs/ryhmes are dramatised and linked by a narrative thread.

The children are encouraged to join in with the singing and to act some of the characters or interact by holding a prop or animals that are the focus of the song/ryhme.

A characteristic of Tick Tock is the welcome song. Every child's name is sung, making each feel special. At the end of the session we stand up and sing songs that require some movement. Each child is given a percussion instrument to play.

The sessions are led by two experienced professional actors/singers and all children under the age of 5 are welcome.
