* Aims:
The development of young people by adult leadership to progressively acheive their physical, social and spiritual potential and to become responsible members of local, national and international communities.
* Method:
The provision of enjoyable training based on the Scout Promise and Law.
* Activities:
Indoor team pursuits on topical projects and recreational activity. In addition, outdoor pursuits and sports at the Group's own campsite (Lord Hyde Memorial Campsite, Chandlers Cross).
Venue: Scout Hut, Durban Road East, West Watford, Herts.

The 1st Watford South Scout Group has active Beaver Colonies (ages 6 to 8), Cub (ages 8 to 10 and a half) Packs and Scout Troup (ages 10 and a half to 14).
Note - both the Hall and the Campsite are available for hire.
