The Beavers (6 to 8 years) and Cubs (8 to 10 and a half years) meet at Hertford, Bengeo, Hertford Heath, Letty Green and Watton at Stone.

The Scouts (10 and a half to 14 years; boys and girls) meet at Hertford, Bengeo and Watton at Stone.

The Explorer Scouts (14 to 18 years; boys and girls) meet in Hertford.

The Scout Network (18 to 25 years) young people meet in Hertford.

There is an active Scout Fellowship which supports scout and guide activities in the District. It meets on the first Friday of every month.

The district welcomes volunteers aged 16 and over to help in many different roles: leaders, managers, instructors, administrators, committee members, supporters and helpers. (There are nationally agreed upper and lower ages limits for some of these roles.)
