Young Music Makers provides pre-school musical education for children from 6 months upwards, based on Kodaly principles. It is located at the United Reformed Church on the junction of Sandpit Lane and Homewood Road, St Albans. Parking is on the spot or in adjacent roads. The groups are held on Mondays and Fridays.
Educational Value: Besides giving the child a great delight in rhythm and melody, the sessions encourage social skills, the development of language and co-ordination, plus the experience of a disciplined environment. The children also learn through listening to the CD's of the songs that they record for them each term.
