Stage One (Welwyn and Hitchin)

Drama classes for children aged 5 to 11 and 11 to 13.

* Venue:
Tilehouse Street Baptist Church Hall, Upper Tilehouse Street, Hitchin.

* Class times:
- Tuesdays 5.00pm to 6.00pm (5 to 7 year olds) and 6.00pm to 7.00pm (8 to 11 year olds)

* Venue:
The Barn Theatre, Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City

* Class times:
- Wednesdays 5.00pm to 6.00pm (6 to 10 years olds) and 6.00pm to 7.00pm (11 to 13 year olds)

- Saturdays 10.00am to 11.00am (5 to 7 year olds) and 11.00am to 12noon (8 to 11 year olds)

Stage One offers:
* a well structured, creative and stimulating environment for your child.
* a place where your child can develop their confidence in an encouraging, supportive group.
* an environment in which your child can have fun and be a bit silly and also learn the techniques that make a good performer.

Stage One aims to do one performance a year. This usually takes the format of an informal 'Let us show you the kind of thing we've been doing at Stage One this year' type show for family and friends. Occasionally they will take part in community performances, such as dance and movement festivals.
