Knebworth Out of School Club

Venue: Knebworth JMI School.
Times: Monday to Friday (term time only):
8.00am-9.00am and 3.15pm-5.15pm or 6.00pm.

Costs as at May 08:
Breakfast Club 8.00am-9.00am £3.80; £3.70 with discount;
3.15pm-6.00pm £9.80; £9.20 with discount (includes light tea);
3.15pm-5.15pm £7.50; £7.20 with discount (includes light tea).
Discount fees are offered to siblings and children attending 5 days a week.

The Club opened in June 2000 and is proud to have achieved a Quality Standards Kitemark of Excellence from Hertfordshire County Council. This award was given in April 2001.

The Club provides quality child care facilities for 24 children attending Knebworth School. The main activities take place in a large dedicated classroom within the school. They also have use of the large enclosed playing field for supervised outdoor games and use of the main hall for indoor games.

The Club and staff are registered with OFSTED and were pleased to be awarded 'Good' at their recent inspection in January 2008. The staff:child ratio is a minimum of 1:8. and the members of staff have a wealth of practical and theoretical experience. All have completed a Criminal Records Bureau check and completed First Aid and Child Protection training.

Knebworth Out of School Club welcomes children with special requirements providing that facilities can be arranged to provide a safe, stimulating environment for that child.
