* Venue for meetings:
The Post Graduate Centre, Mount Vernon Hospital, Rickmansworth Road, Northwood, Middlesex.

* Day/time of meetings:
First Thursday of each month (except January and August) at 7.45pm to 10.00pm

The Community Voice is an umbrella group, linking organisations and individual members who are users of NHS services in South West Herts and North West London, including Watford Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital, Hillingdon Hospital, Mount Vernon Hospital, Harefield Hospital and all other NHS service in those areas.

The group provides a two way forum for exchange of information / debate between the public and the providers of NHS healthcare in South West Herts and North West London. They also monitor local NHS services and campaign when necessary.

The Community Voice provides members with opportunities to meet local NHS decision makers face to face, hear them speak, ask questions and challenge them when needed.

Visitors are welcome at meetings, with no pressure to apply for membership, but new members are always welcome.

* Costs:
Organisations pay £15.00 per year for two delegates to receive monthly mailings and attend all meetings. Individual members pay £5.00 per year

* Affiliated organisations:
There are around 50 local organisations in membership, including - residents associations, community groups, churches, branches of political parties, patients groups.

* Publications:
The group can supply publicity sheets indicating their membership, history, recent activities and speakers and network of contacts. Minutes of the regular meetings are distributed together with a news sheet on NHS issues.

* Venue details:
The Post Graduate Centre at Mount Vernon holds around 100 people. It has disabled access and disabled toilet. There are hospital restaurant facilities in the main building until 8pm.

There is a large car park a few yards away, charge £2.40 if the barrier is down but otherwise parking is free in any safe place.
Buses come to the hospital but as meetings end at 10pm some visitors may prefer to avoid public transport. Please contact if transport is a concern.
