Summary Also known as RBL. Women's Section (Royston)

Meets on Mondays at 7.30pm - c. 9.00pm at the Royal British Legion Hall, Mill Road, Royston.
Subscription: £5.30 + £1.00 new members (Sept 07/08).

Activities on Mondays include:
* 7.30pm Exhortation and Silent Tribute given by Chairman;
* Apologies and sick members noted;
* Any business, correspondence etc. followed by tea and biscuits;
* Other activities for example, bingo, bring'n buy, raffle, quiz, speaker or outing etc;
* Military Whist Drive - Last Monday in each month (teams of 4 people to play).

Profits raised by the group go mainly to the various women's section schemes or Poppy Appeal, but a small proportion is kept back for their branch's social fund, to allow for sick gifts, speakers, occasional outings etc.

Members are generally in the OAP section but they would like to get younger members to come along and offer suggestions and help towards bringing the club more up to date with what is needed to make it appeal to even more ladies.
