Branch meetings are at the 'Orange Tree' in Norton Road, Baldock. Meetings are normally held on the 4th Monday of each month starting at 7.30pm. However, to avoid Easter Monday the April meeting will be on the 28th. The May meeting will be on Monday 19th and the August meeting will be on Monday 18th.
Formed in 1977, the association's aims and achievements are one and the same. Shared experiences form the basis of an understanding between members and they seek to extend this as widely as possible.
With branches all over the UK and in France, Canada, Australia, USA and Spain, they are especially pleased to welcome an ever increasing number of overseas members. Everyone is kept in touch by means of the Association's quarterly magazine - "Intercom" in which the name and squadron number of every new member is featured.
Membership is open to qualified serving or retired aircrew of the Commonwealth and the United States. Additionally, membership is available to qualified persons from other nations, subject to approval by the executive council.
The Aircrew Association is the branches parent organisation. The Aircrew Association Charitable Fund is an affiliate.
