The aim of RAFA is to foster comradeship among ex-service men and women of the Royal Air Force and their dependants of all ages, mainly welfare work. They hold functions to raise money for this work and hold a Wings collection every year.

They have convalescent homes mainly short stay care post opp. and medical care on doctors advice, is possible paid by themselves or they help with cost.
