Many people are worried about boarding their pets when they go on holiday or business trips. The image of sad animals in draughty, cold kennels or cat cages is now a thing of the past. Your pet doesn't have to suffer a "prison sentence" while you are on holiday.

In 1996, the kennels and cattery were completely re-built and up-graded.

Each dog has their own kennel with all-day access to their individual outside covered run. There is a climate control system which ensures they are kept warm in winter and cool in summer. They are taken for walks twice a day around the private fields.

The cat houses have a sit-shelf and a cat flap onto a private covered run and play area. For more than one cat from the same family there is a spacious accommodation so they can be boarded together.

Tomten Kennels and Cattery are licenced by the local authority and since 2003 the cattery has received FAB Approval (Feline Advisory Bureau). The on-site grooming salon and veterinary clinic provides a total care service enabling them to care for elderly borders and those on medication.
